Tour of Kansas City Bike Race

Cameron and Porter participated in their first bike race. Cameron recently
learned how to ride a two-wheeled bike, so he was excited and a bit anxious for
his first public debut. Porter participated in the trike heat and
Cameron competed against his fellow 5-year-old peers. Cam ran
into his good friend, PJ, from preschool. These two boys had counless bike
races at the park together, so Cam was happy to have an official bike race with
his friend. I won't give the details of the finish, but each boy did an
awesome job and brought home a very nice medal.
Porter's First Day of Preschool

Porter was literally speechless his first day of preschool. He didn't want to
smile for the camera and surely didn't want to say his name to his new
teachers. At first I was afraid that they would think Porter didn't speak much
at all. However, by the third day of school, Porter was excited to go to
school and I could tell he was his talkative self to his teachers as well. He
looks forward to P.E., art, and especially playtime. Being the baby of the
family, I am still shocked to see him come out of the class to greet me when I
pick him up. I can't believe he really spends all that time away from me.
Cameron gets out of school before Porter and he is just as excited to pick
Porter up from school as I am. Porter's big grin coming around the door
brightens us all up.
